Nook sends transactional email only, and only in reply to something you asked for. There is no newsletter, and there is no marketing list.
| Message | Sent when | Contains |
|---|---|---|
| Password reset | You ask to reset the password on your publishing account. | A single-use code, and nothing else. |
| Address confirmation | You add or change the email address on your account. | A confirmation code. |
| Deletion confirmation | You ask to delete your account. | A confirmation code. |
One way: you type it while setting up publishing, which is invitation-only. No address is bought, scraped, imported, or shared. There is nothing to unsubscribe from, because nothing is sent unprompted.
