Nook sends transactional email only, and only in reply to something you asked for. There is no newsletter, and there is no marketing list.

Every message we send

Message	Sent when	Contains
Password reset	You ask to reset the password on your publishing account.	A single-use code, and nothing else.
Address confirmation	You add or change the email address on your account.	A confirmation code.
Deletion confirmation	You ask to delete your account.	A confirmation code.

How an address gets here

One way: you type it while setting up publishing, which is invitation-only. No address is bought, scraped, imported, or shared. There is nothing to unsubscribe from, because nothing is sent unprompted.

Sending details

• Messages come from noreply@nooker.social.
• The sending domain is authenticated with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Bounces and complaints are monitored, and an address that hard-bounces is not written to again.
• Volume is proportional to accounts, not to a campaign: a few messages per account per year, driven entirely by what the account holder does.
